Characteristics of Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Commonly described characteristics include grandiosity or an egocentric worldview, a need for admiration, a sense of entitlement, limited empathy, fragile or unstable self-esteem, poor tolerance of criticism, and projection of blame. These patterns may be ego-syntonic, meaning the person may not recognize them as problematic or may not want them to change.
