Methodology: Students of Different Minds: Bridging the Gaps of International Students Studying in the US

The study used a qualitative case-study protocol and interviews to examine participants' experiences. It was conducted at a public university in the southeastern United States with nearly 45,000 students, including approximately 2,000 international students. Six international students were recruited through convenience sampling. All were in their twenties and came from Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Turkey, or Spain; they represented fields including education, engineering, and international relations.
