Paracetamol is used to treat fever in COVID-19. Because one of its metabolites is hepatotoxic, use caution when combining paracetamol with other hepatotoxic drugs, such as lopinavir. When combining paracetamol with favipiravir, keep the paracetamol dosage under 3 grams because of the risk of increased paracetamol exposure.
