Virusoids

Virusoids are pathogenic, subviral particles composed of single-stranded RNA (ssRNA) that infect commercially important agricultural crops. Unlike viroids, virusoids are non-self-replicating and require the host cell to be co-infected with a specific helper virus to undergo replication.
