Lipid Bilayer Spheres

Lipid bilayer spheres are hollow, spherical structures formed by a double layer of phospholipids. In these spheres, the hydrophilic heads are positioned on the outer surface and lining the inner cavity, while the hydrophobic tails face each other within the bilayer's core. These structures serve as the physical foundation for subcellular components such as vesicles and liposomes.
