There are 2 types of Isomers and they are:

Types of Isomers

Is a large molecule made up of thousands of atoms which are covalently bonded  atoms. This very large molecule is important to biological processes.

Isoprene is a five-carbon hydrocarbon molecule that serves as the chemical precursor for isoprenoids. Its structure consists of a four-carbon chain with a methyl group attached to the second carbon.

Organic molecules are carbon-containing compounds whose structures are typically built around carbon atom chains. Unlike inorganic molecules, they must contain carbon atoms covalently bonded to hydrogen atoms.

Biomolecules contain a carbon sekelton which is a result of carbon’s unique combination of size and bonding properties, carbon atoms can bind together in large numbers, thus producing a chain. The carbon skeleton of organic molecules can be straight, branched, or ring shaped (cyclic).
