Zygomycota

Zygomycota is a phylum of fungi, mostly saprophytic, characterized by coenocytic hyphae and haploid nuclei. They reproduce asexually using sporangiospores and sexually using thick-walled zygospores formed by the fusion of reproductive cells from two individuals.
