متن و ترجمه / Text and Translation

بعد از آن گفتند ای مادر بیاگور بابا کو، تو ما را ره نما
After that they said, “O mother, come; where is father’s grave?
بردشان بر گور او بنمود راهپس سه روزه داشتند از بهر شاه
Show us the way.”
بعد از آن گفتند ای بابا به ماشاه پیغامی فرستاد از وجا
She brought them to his grave and showed them the path.
که دو مرد او را به تنگ آورده اندآب رویش پیش لشکر برده اند
Then, for the king’s sake, they fasted for three days.
نیست با ایشان سلاح و لشکریجز عصا و در عصا شور و شری
After that they said, “O father, the king has sent us a message from there: two men have brought him into straits and taken away his honor before the army.
تو جهان راستان در رفته ایگرچه در صورت به خاکی خفته ای
They have neither weapon nor army, except a staff, and in the staff there is tumult and trouble.
آن اگر سحرست ما را ده خبرور خدایی باشد ای جان پدر
You have gone into the world of the truthful, though outwardly you sleep in the earth.
هم خبر ده تا که ما سجده کنیمخویشتن بر کیمیایی بر زنیم
If that is sorcery, give us news; and if it is divine, O dear father, tell us that too, so that we may prostrate ourselves and strike ourselves upon an alchemy.
ناامیدانیم و اومیدی رسیدراندگانیم و کرم ما را کشید
We are despairing ones, and hope has arrived; we are outcasts, and grace has drawn us near.”
