بخش ۸ - در فضیلت امیرالمؤمنین حسین علیه السلام / Section 8 - On the Virtue of the Commander of the Faithful Husayn, Peace Be Upon Him

متن و ترجمه / Text and Translation

امامی کافتاب خافقینستامام از ماه تا ماهی حسینست
An Imam who is the sun of the East and the West,
The Imam from the moon to the fish is Husayn.
چو خورشیدی جهان را خسرو آمدکه نه معصوم پاکش پس رو آمد
Like a sun, he came as a king to the world,
Such that nine pure infallibles came to follow him.
چو آن خورشید اصل خاندانستبمهرش نه فلک از پی روانست
Since that sun is the origin of the household,
By his love, the nine heavens follow in his path.
چراغ آسمان مکرمت بودجهان علم و بحر معرفت بود
He was the lamp of the sky of generosity,
He was the world of knowledge and the sea of gnosis.
بهمت هر دو عالم کم گرفتهولی نورش همه عالم گرفته
With his ambition, he considered both worlds as little,
Yet his light has enveloped the whole world.
رخ او بود خورشید الهیشبی تاریک، مویش از سیاهی
His face was the divine sun,
His hair, a dark night in its blackness.
کسی کو آفتاب و شب بهم خواستحسن آن از حسین آمد بهم راست
Whoever desired the sun and the night together,
Its beauty came together perfectly in Husayn.
امام ده و دو حق کرد قسمتکه هر یک پردهیی سازد ز عصمت
God divided the Imams into twelve,
So that each would make a veil of infallibility.
ده و دو پرده زان آمد پدیدارحسینی بود اما پردهیی زار
Twelve veils appeared from that,
There was a Husayni veil, but a sorrowful one.
ببرد این راه او گر مبتلا بودولی خونریز او در کربلا بود
He traversed this path even though he was afflicted,
But his blood-shedding was in Karbala.
اگر هستی تو اهل پردهٔ رازازین پرده بزاری میده آواز
If you belong to the people of the veil of the secret,
From this veil, give voice in lamentation.
بسی خون کرده اند اهل ملامتولی این خون نخسبد تا قیامت
The people of blame have shed much blood,
But this blood will not sleep until Resurrection.
هر آن خونی که بر روی زمانهستبرفت از چشم و این خون جاودانهست
Any blood that is on the face of time,
Disappeared from the eyes, but this blood is eternal.
چو ذاتش آفتاب جاودان بودز خون او شفق باقی ازان بود
Since his essence was an eternal sun,
The twilight remained from his blood because of that.
چو آن خورشید دین شد ناپدیداردر آن خون چرخ میگردد چو پرگار
When that sun of religion disappeared,
In that blood, the celestial sphere revolves like a compass.
