متن و ترجمه / Text and Translation

حمل و ثور و پیکر جوزا	سرطان و اسد دلیل بقا
Aries, Taurus, and the figure of Gemini, Cancer and Leo, the guides of existence.
خوشهٔ خاک و کفهٔ میزان	عقرب مائی و زنار کمان
The earthy Virgo and the pan of Libra, The watery Scorpio and the belt of Sagittarius.
جدی خاکی و دلو و حوت بهم	از هوا و ز آب داده رقم
The earthy Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces together, Are marked by air and water.
بره و شیر ناریست و کمان	گاو و خوشه و بز ز خاک گران
Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius are fiery, Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn are of heavy earth.
باز دو پیکر و ترازو و دول	از هوا یافت بهره بیش ممول
Again, Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius Received the most share of air.
هست خرچنگ و گزدم و ماهی	که بر آبستشان شهنشاهی
Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces, Their sovereignty is over water.
حمل و عقربست از این تاریخ	که شدستند خانهٔ مریخ
Aries and Scorpio, in this configuration, Have become the houses of Mars.
ثور و میزان ز زهره دارد بهر	زهره چون شاه و ثور و میزان شهر
Taurus and Libra receive their share from Venus, Venus is like the king, and Taurus and Libra are the cities.
پس از این هست خوشه و جوزا	کز عطارد گرفته اند بها
After these are Virgo and Gemini, Which have received their value from Mercury.
سرطان خانهٔ قمر گویند	شمس را جز اسد کجا جویند
They say Cancer is the house of the Moon, Where else but Leo would they seek the Sun?
قوس و حوتست خانهٔ هرمزد	جدی و دلو از زحل بجوید مزد
Sagittarius and Pisces are the houses of Jupiter, Capricorn and Aquarius seek their reward from Saturn.
