بخش ۱۰ - قاعده در تشبیه کتاب آفرینش به کتاب وحی / Section 10 - The Rule concerning the Comparison of the Book of Creation to the Book of Revelation

متن و ترجمه / Text and Translation

به نزد آنکه جانش در تجلی استهمه عالم کتاب حق تعالی است
To him whose soul is in the state of divine illumination,
The entire world is the book of God Almighty.
عرض اعراب و جوهر چون حروف استمراتب همچو آیات وقوف است
Accidents are its vowels and substance like its letters;
The stages of being are like its verses and pauses.
از او هر عالمی چون سوره ای خاصیکی زان فاتحه و آن دیگر اخلاص
From Him, every world is like a specific chapter;
One of them is Al-Fatiha, and another Al-Ikhlas.
نخستین آیتش عقل کل آمدکه در وی همچو باء بسمل آمد
Its first verse was the Universal Intellect,
Which came into it like the letter 'B' of 'Bismillah'.
دوم نفس کل آمد آیت نورکه چون مصباح شد از غایت نور
The second was the Universal Soul, the Verse of Light,
Which became like a lamp from the extreme light.
سیم آیت در او شد عرش رحمانچهارم «آیت الکرسی» همی دان
The third verse in it became the Throne of the Merciful;
Know the fourth to be the 'Throne Verse' (Ayat al-Kursi).
پس از وی جرمهای آسمانی استکه در وی سورهٔ سبع المثانی است
After that are the heavenly bodies,
In which is the chapter of the Seven Oft-Repeated.
نظر کن باز در جرم عناصرکه هر یک آیتی هستند باهر
Look again into the bodies of the elements,
For each of them is a dazzling verse.
پس از عنصر بود جرم سه مولودکه نتوان کرد این آیات محدود
After the elements are the bodies of the three kingdoms,
For one cannot limit these verses.
به آخر گشت نازل نفس انسانکه بر ناس آمد آخر ختم قرآن
At last, the human soul descended,
For upon mankind the Quran was finally sealed.
