متن و ترجمه / Text and Translation
| یکی ترسا مسلمان گشت و پیروز | بمی خوردن شد آن جاهل دگر روز |
| A Christian became a Muslim and triumphant, The next day, that ignorant one went to drink wine. | |
| چو مادر مست دید او را ز دردی | بدو گفت ای پسر آخر چه کردی |
| When his mother saw him drunk, out of sorrow, She said to him, 'O son, what have you done after all? | |
| که شد آزرده عیسی زود ازتو | محمد ناشده خشنود از تو |
| For Jesus has quickly become aggrieved with you, While Muhammad has not yet become pleased with you. | |
| مخنث وار رفتن ره نکو نیست | که هر رعنا مزاجی مرد او نیست |
| To walk the path like a weakling is not good, For not every vain-tempered person is a true man. | |
| بمردی رو دران دینی که هستی | که نامردیست در دین بت پرستی |
| Walk with manliness in whichever religion you are, For unmanliness in religion is idol-worship.' | |
