بخش ۴ - فی نعت الرسول صلی اللّه علیه و سلم / Section 4 - In Praise of the Messenger, Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him
متن و ترجمه / Text and Translation
| آنچه فرض دین نسل آدمست | نعت صدر وبدر هر دو عالمست |
| What is the religious duty of Adam's race Is the praise of the foremost and the full moon of both worlds | |
| آفتاب عالم دین پروران | خواجهٔ فرمان ده پیغامبران |
| The sun of the world of those who foster religion The master who commands the prophets | |
| پیشوای انبیا و مرسلین | مقتدای اولین و آخرین |
| The leader of prophets and messengers The guide of the first and the last | |
| صادق القول زمین و آسمان | صد جهان در یک جهان پاک ازجهان |
| Truthful in word on earth and in heaven A hundred worlds in one world, transcendent of the world | |
| مرجع خلق و امام کائنات | فعل او هم حجت و هم معجزات |
| The refuge of creation and the Imam of the cosmos His action is both a proof and a miracle | |
| گوهر دریای تقوی ذات او | تا ابدداعی حق دعوات او |
| The pearl of the sea of piety is his essence Until eternity, his call is the summoner to Truth | |
| پایمرد هر دو عالم آمده | دستگیر نسل آدم آمده |
| He has come as the intercessor of both worlds He has come as the helper of Adam's progeny | |
| عقل کل جزوی ز عکس جان او | کل شده هر جزو از ایمان او |
| Universal Intellect is but a part of the reflection of his soul Every part has become a whole through his faith | |
| نوبت منشور او ادنی زده | لانبی بعدی این طغرازده |
| The turn of his mandate strikes "closer" (adna) "There is no prophet after me" has struck this royal seal | |
| طفل راهش آدم پیر آمده | سوی شرعش از پی شیر آمده |
| Old Adam has come as a child on his path Seeking his law, coming for milk | |
| جلوه کرده آفتاب روی او | آسمان صد سجده برده سوی او |
| The sun of his face has manifested The sky has bowed down a hundred times toward him | |
| نقطهٔ و نوباوهٔ کونین اوست | قدوه و اعجوبهٔ ثقلین اوست |
| He is the focal point and the first fruit of the two worlds He is the model and the marvel of humans and jinn | |
| آنکه در صورت بمعنی عالمیست | زافرینش آفرینش هر دمیست |
| He who in form is, in meaning, a world From his creation, there is a creation at every moment | |
| هشت جنت جرعهٔ از جام او | هر دوعالم از دومیم نام او |
| The eight paradises are a sip from his cup Both worlds (alam) are from the two 'm's of his name (Mohammad) | |
| نیست عالم را مگر یک میم قسم | پس محمد را دومیم آمد ز اسم |
| The world (alam) has only a share of one 'm' Thus, Mohammad has two 'm's in his name | |
| لاجرم یک عالم از یک میم اوست | وان دوم عالم ز دیگر نیم اوست |
| Inevitably, one world is from one of his 'm's And the second world is from his other half | |
| خواجهٔ اولاد عالم اوست بس | شمع جمع هر دو عالم اوست بس |
| He is truly the master of the children of the world He is truly the candle of the gathering of both worlds | |
| قطب اصل او بود پیدا و نهان | سر از آن بر کرد از ناف جهان |
| The pole of his origin was visible and hidden For that reason, he emerged from the navel of the world (Mecca) | |
| او نبی السیف از آن بی حیف بود | کو علی دین کحدالسیف بود |
| He was the Prophet of the Sword, hence without injustice For he was upon a religion like the edge of the sword | |
| او نبی بود ازدرون واز برون | قال نحن الاخرون السابقون |
| He was a prophet from within and from without He said, "We are the last (in time) and the first (in rank)" | |
| حجتش کنت نبیا از درونست | دعوتش مهر رسالت از برونست |
| His proof is "I was a prophet" from within His call is the seal of prophethood from without | |
| مایه بخش هر دوعالم نور اوست | بر جهان و جان مقدم نور اوست |
| His light is the source of bestowal for both worlds His light precedes the world and the soul | |
| پرتو هر دو جهان عکس دلش | شش درهفت آسمان یک منزلش |
| The radiance of both worlds is the reflection of his heart The six directions in the seven heavens are his one stage | |
| آنکه از دو ثلث دین اعزاز یافت | سوزن از نورش بشب در بازیافت |
| He from whom two-thirds of religion found honor (Aisha) Found the needle at night by his light | |
| چیست والشمس آفتاب روی او | چیست واللیل آیت گیسوی او |
| What is "By the Sun"? The sun of his face What is "By the Night"? The sign of his locks | |
| نوش داروی همه دلها ازوست | حل وعقد کل مشکلها ازوست |
| The healing remedy for all hearts is from him The unravelling and binding of all difficulties is from him | |
| هرکجا شق شد زمین مشکلات | گشت طالع آفتاب کائنات |
| Wherever the ground of difficulties was cleft The sun of the cosmos rose | |
| چون زمین راشق بود اول بدو | مشکل پوشیده گردد حل بدو |
| Since the splitting of the earth is first for him The hidden difficulty is solved by him | |
| قطب عرش و فرشو کرسی اوست بس | چون گذشت از حق چه پرسی اوست بس |
| He is truly the pole of the Throne, the Earth, and the Pedestal Since he passed from truth, what do you ask? It is only him | |
| بی صبا گل کی برآید از قبا | او گل غیبست منصور از صبا |
| Without the breeze (Saba), when does the rose emerge from its robe? He is the rose of the unseen, aided by the Saba wind | |
| ز ابتدا تا انتها در کار بود | از قدم تا فرق در اسرار بود |
| From the beginning to the end, he was at work From foot to crown, he was immersed in mysteries | |
| ز ملینی باخدیجه زابتداش | کلمینی یا حمیرا ز انتهاش |
| From "cover me" (zammiluni) with Khadija at his beginning To "speak to me, O Humayra" at his end | |
| چون بیفزود او نبوت را جمال | جان ماضی کرد از استقبال حال |
| When he added beauty to prophethood The soul made the past from the welcoming of the present | |
| کار جسمش دق عظمی بود بس | جانش ازواشتد شوقی زد نفس |
| The work of his body was just extreme thinness His soul breathed from "my longing grew intense" | |
| سینهٔ او را برای فتح باب | طشت آورد آفتاب و کوثر آب |
| To open the door of his chest The sun brought a basin and Kawthar brought water | |
| جان پاکش تا ابد ز آب حیات | دست شست از جمله کون وکاینات |
| His pure soul, for eternity, from the water of life Washed its hands of all existence and beings | |
| تا که طشت از سینه او دور شد | طشت چرخ از عکس او پرنور شد |
| As soon as the basin was removed from his chest The basin of the celestial sphere became full of light from his reflection | |
| تا که شد نعل براق او هلال | هر سر ماهی شود نو از کمال |
| Since the horseshoe of his Buraq became the crescent moon At the start of every month, it becomes new out of perfection | |
| آفتاب از خوان او یک گرده بود | گرچه از حد بیش گرمی کرده بود |
| The sun was a single flatbread from his table Even though it had radiated excessive heat | |
| بود کیوان هندو چوبک زنش | زنگی شب از قمر طبلک زنش |
| Saturn was the Hindu night-watchman striking the wood for him The blackness of the night from the moon was his drummer | |
| زهره دایم خاک روبی بردرش | مشتری اقضی القضاة لشکرش |
| Venus is constantly sweeping the dust at his door Jupiter is the supreme judge of his army | |
| هم ز کین مریخ دشمن سوز او | هم عطارد طفل نو آموز او |
| Mars burns his enemies out of vengeance And Mercury is a novice child learning from him | |
| در بر لطفش که جان عالمیست | آب حیوان قطره و کوثر نیست |
| Beside his grace, which is the soul of a world The water of life is but a drop and Kawthar is nothing | |
| در بر خلقش که خلق آنست و بس | حله فردوس خلقانست و بس |
| Beside his character, which is true character and that is all The garment of Paradise is merely worn-out rags | |
| در بر جودش متاع خشک و تر | یک جوآرد وزن اما خشک تر |
| Beside his generosity, the goods of wet and dry Weigh one barleycorn, but even drier | |
| در بر علمش بدست کبریا | هم ملایک خوشه چین هم انبیا |
| Beside his knowledge, at the hand of the Divine Grandeur Both angels and prophets are gleaners | |
| در بر حلمش که کوه ساکنست | در زمین صد لرزهٔ ناایمنست |
| Beside his forbearance, which is a still mountain The earth has a hundred unsafe tremors | |
| چون زغیب الغیب سر از سر بتافت | نور را همرنگ خود کرد آنچه یافت |
| When from the unseen of the unseen he turned his head from the mystery He made whatever light he found the same color as himself | |
| یوسف صدیق را بر روی زد | خیمه خوبیش سو تا سوی زد |
| He struck the face of Joseph the Truthful The tent of his goodness spread from side to side | |
| حلق داود از خوشی پرجوش کرد | خلق را از حلق او مدهوش کرد |
| He made the throat of David bubble with joy He bewildered the people through his throat | |
| بر کف موسی زد و پیدا نمود | تا همه عالم ید بیضا نمود |
| He struck the hand of Moses and manifested Until the whole world displayed the White Hand | |
| سایه آنگه بر دم عیسی فکند | شور ازو در جملهٔ دنیا فکند |
| Then he cast a shadow on the breath of Jesus And cast a tumult from him into the entire world | |
| چون محمد اصل پیشان اوفتاد | آن او کافتاد بر جان اوفتاد |
| Since Muhammad fell as the origin of those before him What fell from him, fell upon the soul | |
| از دو عالم لاجرم در پیش بود | وین عجب تر جان او درویش بود |
| He was inevitably ahead of both worlds And more wondrously, his soul was a dervish | |
| جان چو آن حق بد آن او نبود | جز بدرویشی نشان او نبود |
| Since his soul belonged to God, it did not belong to him His mark was nothing but being a dervish | |
| پادشاهی بود احمد از احد | ملک او الفقر فخری تا ابد |
| Ahmad was a king from the One His kingdom was "Poverty is my pride" until eternity | |
| آفرینش را چو مقصود اوست بس | او بود جاوید حق را دوست بس |
| Since he is truly the purpose of creation He will eternally be the true friend of God | |
| در همه آفاق پیغامبر نبود | تا یکی پیغامبرش هم بر نبود |
| There was no prophet in all the horizons Until one prophet became his equal | |
| لیک ختم جملهٔ پیغامبران | بود مستغنی نه همچون دیگران |
| But the seal of all prophets Was self-sufficient, not like the others | |
| تا بود چون مصطفی پیغامبری | چون بود در سایه او دیگری |
| As long as there is a prophet like Mustafa How can another be in his shadow? | |
| در فروع آفتاب خاوری | چون کند آخر چراغی رهبری |
| In the rays of the Eastern Sun How can a lamp provide guidance, after all? | |
| نه پیمبر گفت اگر اکنون کلیم | زنده بودی پیروم بودی مقیم |
| Did the Prophet not say: "If Moses the Interlocutor were alive now, He would permanently be my follower"? | |
| عیسی مریم که شد بر آسمان | پس روی او کند آخر زمان |
| Jesus, son of Mary, who ascended to heaven Will follow him in the end times | |
| هندو او شد مسیح نامدار | زان مبشر نام کردش کردگار |
| The renowned Messiah became his servant For that reason, the Creator named him the bringer of glad tidings | |
| بعد ازو پیغامبری امکان نداشت | پیش ازو کس بیش ازو ایمان نداشت |
| After him, prophethood was not possible Before him, no one had more faith than him | |
| یافت اندر عهد او ایمان کمال | نیست برتر ازکمال الا زوال |
