Section 13 - On the Virtue of the Commander of the Faithful Ali, May Allah Be Pleased with Him
Text and Translation
| The splendor that the religion of the Prophet received, It received from the Commander of the Faithful, Haydar. | |
| Since the Prince of Bees became a courageous lion, By his iron, stone became beeswax. | |
| He was the Prince of Bees by his own hand and soul, For his knowledge was nectar and his sword was a sting. | |
| He said, "If a hundred armies come against me, No one will see my back on the battlefield." | |
| Rustam, whether he was worthy or unworthy, Since he found manliness from Zal, it was easy. | |
| His (Ali's) manliness was from the Eternal God, And that of Rustam was either from Dastan or Zal. | |
| The Lion of Truth, with the sword of truth, nurtures religion, Acting like Zal and Rustam of Dastan. | |
| He has two kernels, Husayn and Hasan, Nay, he has two kernels from both of these words. | |
| "There is no youth but Ali" is his from Mustafa, And from the Lord of the World, "Hal Ata" is his. | |
| From his two hands, "There is no youth" appeared, And from his three loaves of bread, "Hal Ata" appeared. | |
| When those three loaves of his went out on the way, The two discs of the sun and moon were humbled. | |
| Since the Prophet was Moses, Ali was Aaron; If you do not call them brothers, how would it be? | |
| Both are of the same seed and have become companions, Moses and Aaron have become companions. | |
| Since he has come as the heart of the family of Yasin, The heart of the Quran, Ya and Sin, has come from this. | |
| The heart of the Quran is his heart full of the Quran, "Befriend him who befriends him" is in his honor. | |
| The She-Camel of God was in the stone, O wonder! The stone split open and the she-camel came seeking. | |
| When Ali said, "By the Lord of the Kaaba, I have succeeded!" The She-Camel of God took up the Lion of Truth. | |
| If you speak truly, indeed it was fitting: The Camel of Truth carrying the Lion of Truth. | |
| If he became a camel with a rope in his mouth, With the child Husayn, out of good character; | |
| He who became a camel for the sake of the son, He (God) sent a camel for the sake of the father. | |
| The Camel of Truth was killed by the most wretched of the former ones, The Lion of Truth was killed by the most wretched of the latter ones. | |
