English translation

When you see the faithful ones have made a profit, you, like Satan, become envious there. Whoever possesses a weak and feeble nature, does not wish anyone to have a healthy body. If you do not want the envy of Iblis, come from the door of pretension to the threshold of fidelity. Since you have no fidelity, do not speak at all, for speech is mostly the pretension of 'we' and 'I'. This speech within the breast is the income of the intellects; in silence, there are a hundred growths for the kernel of the soul. When it comes upon the tongue, it becomes the expenditure of the brain; spend less so that the precious kernel remains. The man of few words has robust thoughts; when the husk of talking increases, the kernel goes away. When the husk was excessive, the kernel was lean; the husk became thin when the kernel became complete and exquisite. Behold these three that have escaped from rawness: the walnut, the almond, and the pistachio. Whoever commits disobedience becomes a devil, for he becomes envious of the fortune of the good. When you fulfill your covenant with God, out of grace, God will keep His covenant with you. Have you closed your eyes to the fidelity of God? Have you not heard: 'Remember Me, I will remember you'? Lend your ear, keep 'Fulfill My covenant' in your ear, so that 'I shall fulfill your covenant' may come from the Friend. What are our covenant and debt, O sorrowful one? It is like sowing dry seed in the earth. Neither does the earth gain brightness and thickness therefrom, nor does the Lord of the earth gain wealth. It is but a token from me that says, 'I need this, as You gave the origin of this from non-existence.' I consumed (the crop) and brought seed as a sign, saying, 'Draw us toward this bounty of Yours.' So leave dry prayer, O fortunate one, for the tree requires the scattering of seeds. If you have no seed, God, because of that prayer, will grant you a palm-tree—'How excellent is what he strove for!' Like Mary, she had labor pains but no seed; yet the Master of Art made that palm-tree green. Because that noble lady was faithful, God granted her a hundred desires without her seeking. Those people who have been faithful, He has increased them in all their classes. The seas and mountains became subject to them, and the four elements also became servants to that group. This is itself an honor for a sign, so that the deniers may see it clearly. But their hidden miracles are such that they do not enter into the senses or into description. That is what truly matters, and that itself shall be eternal, perpetual, neither cut off nor taken back.
